God tells us in Malachi 3:10-11 to test His faithfulness by returning the first 10% of our income to Him. This is called the tithe. Countless people experience His blessings when they tithe, but the first step can be the hardest one to take. The 90 Day Tithe Challenge is a great way to take your next step toward experiencing God’s faithfulness.
Here’s our commitment to you: If you tithe for the 90 days and don’t see God’s blessings in your life, we will refund 100% of your tithe.
STEPS TO TAKE:
1. PRAY FIRST.
At Local City, there is never any pressure to give. We only ask you do one thing. Pray and ask God what He would have you do in your generosity. If He leads you with an answer, then just say yes.
2. DECIDE AND START.
The Tithe is when we return to the Lord 10% of what He's given us because it belongs to Him anyway. 2 Corinthians 9:7 says that we decide in our heart how much to give. Decide in your heart on what percentage to start at with 10% being the eventual goal.
3. MAKE IT AUTOMATIC.
